Forget ketchup and mustard! These mushroom burgers are delicious!

Ingredients:

  • Hamburger (1 lb. for 4 burgers)
  • Buns
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms (fresh is better than canned)
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup of good quality no-MSG beef bullion
  • 2 teaspoons corn starch

Preparation

  1. Cook hamburger patties as you normally would from fresh beef by pan frying, broiling or grilling them.
  2. While your burgers are cooking, make the mushroom gravy:
  • In a saucepan, saute mushrooms and onions in butter until they start to brown.
  • Pour beef bullion into saucepan, and quickly add cornstarch. Stir until it thickens (apprx. 15 mins.)

When burgers are browned, put on a bun, top with a slice of Munster cheese. Spoon on the mushroom gravy and enjoy!
