Forget ketchup and mustard! These mushroom burgers are delicious!
Ingredients:
- Hamburger (1 lb. for 4 burgers)
- Buns
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms (fresh is better than canned)
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 cup of good quality no-MSG beef bullion
- 2 teaspoons corn starch
Preparation
- Cook hamburger patties as you normally would from fresh beef by pan frying, broiling or grilling them.
- While your burgers are cooking, make the mushroom gravy:
- In a saucepan, saute mushrooms and onions in butter until they start to brown.
- Pour beef bullion into saucepan, and quickly add cornstarch. Stir until it thickens (apprx. 15 mins.)
When burgers are browned, put on a bun, top with a slice of Munster cheese. Spoon on the mushroom gravy and enjoy!
