An Heirloom variety with legendary size and flavor .  The Brandywine bears extra large pinkish-red fruit with a creamy flesh that is said to have an exceptionally rich flavor.

White the Brandywine tomato bears extra large fruit that can grow up to 16 oz (1 lb), it can take from 80 - 100 days to reach maturity which means you'll need a climate that can maintain a long growing season.  The plant has large potato-leaved foliage which bears large pink beefsteak-shaped fruit.

Indeterminate plants

The vines grow indefinitely with the vine producing new shoots & blossoms even after fruit set.  Plants can grow quite tall in warmer climates with fruit production last well into the end of summer.

Growing Tips

This is an indeterminate tomato variety, so it needs to be staked or caged.  Tomatoes should be planted outside after the last average frost date.  The plants prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter.  In order to produce good yields, the plants need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day and regular watering.  Fertilize about every six weeks with a good fertilizer (we recommend worm castings if available).
